Van Raam Maxi Comfort
Van Raam has a variant of the traditional tricycle. This has a low spacious step through and easier sitting position. Instead of above the pedals, you sit a little behind them. This gives you a lower sitting position, so you can always mount with both your legs on the ground and have optimum space for knee movement. In this variant you do not need to raise the legs high for mounting and can draw the seat underneath yourself and then sit. With a lower centre of gravity this tricycle feels more comfortable than the conventional ones. The lower sitting position places lesser burden on your back, shoulders, neck and wrists. Many people find this cycle easier to ride than a traditional tricycle.
Triride Hybrid Plus Handcycle
A hybrid handcycle that provides electric assistance to boost speed and stamina while still providing the freedom and exercise of cycling. This handles difficult terrain with ease and clips on and off a standard wheelchair which will also be provided (3 sizes available).
The docking mechanism involves sliding bars of a frame into docking pins before tightening and lifting u. The movement may be difficult for some lacking core strength to lean forward and alternative handcycle may be more appropriate. Get in contact to discuss with our advisor.
Stricker Smart Dynamic- Standard edition
Equipped with a torque sensor optimised for hand crank drive, the Smart Dynamic recognises the muscle power provided at the crank and dynamically adds motor assistance. Via five adjustable levels, the support can be adapted to your own wishes and to suit the current route. Levels 1 and 2 add particularly little motor support. This allows even very sporty riders to adjust the motor support well.
Together with the sensitive torque sensor, the intelligent control ensures regulated traction, which has a clear effect on the driving behaviour and enables controlled starting even on loose surfaces.
11-speed Shimano XT DI-2 electric shifting system.
If the rider's power reserves are exhausted, the integrated PAS mode makes it possible to ride without power: If the thumb throttle is held while cranking, the power-based motor control is converted into a turn-based motor control. To start uphill, the thumb throttle is suitable, which accelerates the Smart Dynamic up to 6 km/h without cranking. The thumb throttle can always call up the full engine power, even at low speeds.
Thanks to the precise torque sensor, the riding speed can be controlled naturally by force input, which allows you to maintain any desired speed constantly. This makes cycling tours with friends, family or your partner even more enjoyable.
This clips on and off a standard wheelchair which will also be provided (3 sizes available).
Stricker Smart Dynamic- Tetra edition
A top-of the range handcycle set up for those with limited hand function. All the same features as the standard but with the addition of chin shifting facilities to allow gearing changes to be made hands free, and a back pedal brake. Available with a chair in 3 sizes.
Van Raam Easy Rider (Electric)
The Easy Rider tricycle is a tricycle with a seat for adults. Because of the unique frame, there is a low entry, and the center of gravity lies lower. A big advantage of this third-generation tricycle is that the Easy Rider is very easy to ride on, even if you have never ridden a tricycle before. The Easy Rider has a comfortable seat with adjustable back support, lower back support, and raised edges on the side for better sitting comfort and lateral support. This provides a stable and secure feeling. The seat is easily adjustable with the quick-release lever. Getting off the bike is easy because the bike has a slightly higher seat. The forward pedaling movement and the suspension in the frame ensure perfect riding comfort. The Easy Rider tricycle with a seat is extremely agile and has a small turning circle. The bike also easily fits through a normal door.
Van Raam Maxi
The trendy Maxi is designed for stability and hence creates a feeling of security while cycling. You can easily mount and ride with this smooth-running tricycle.
Van Raam Midi (electric)
The Midi is a trendy tricycle designed for shorter people. It is a smooth-running three-wheeler with a solid finish and beautiful design.
It hasl electric pedal assist and it will be delivered as a smart e-bike.
Van Raam Easy Rider Compact (electric)
The Easy Rider Compact is a compact tricycle with a seat on which you can cycle very easily. This comfortable tricycle is suitable for small adults and large children. The trike has both a compact look and compact dimensions. The Easy Rider Compact has similar riding characteristics as the Easy Rider tricycle. The main difference being that the Easy Rider Compact is a lot more compact. The unique frame allows for a low entry level and a lower centre of gravity. This makes you feel safe and secure on the tricycle.
The forward pedalling motion and suspension in the seat ensure perfect riding comfort, making short but also longer distances comfortable. The seat of the seated tricycle is adjustable. The Easy Rider Compact is very manoeuvrable and has a small turning radius.
The Easy Rider Compact is suitable with an inner leg length of approximately 63 cm to 81 cm. This corresponds to a body height of about 1.40 to 1.70 metres.
DaVinci Handcycle
The DaVinci Handcycle is a beginner-friendly, high-performance attachment designed to transform your wheelchair into a smooth, efficient, and versatile hand-powered ride. Engineered for ease of use, it effortlessly attaches to most rigid-frame wheelchairs, giving users a new level of mobility and independence.
Equipped with a Shimano Nexus 8-speed hub, the DaVinci Handcycle delivers seamless gear shifting, ensuring a smooth ride across various terrains.
ICE Trike Adventure
Enjoy the relaxed pace of recumbent riding on the beautifully designed ICE Adventure. With its high and accessible seating position, rugged looks, and ride capabilities, the Adventure is primed to cruise the open road, discover hidden trails, and explore new horizons.

Adaptations for YOU
There are many adaptions that can be made to our standard cycles to make them even easier to use and accommodate a range of needs. This might be shifting controls to a single side drive for someone stroke affected or with a limb difference or simply providing toe-clips or gripping aids. We have limited capacity to provide these so please tell us anything we might need to consider so we can try and find a solution.
It's helpful to think about:
Seating
Consider your trunk stability and balance, if a standard saddle is not secure or comfortable enough we will choose a cycle that has different seating options. If you have back issues that require further support, consider a semi-recumbent. Other backrests and seating solutions can be considered.
Hand Controls
Think about your left and right-hand grip strength and dexterity. What movement is easiest for you to shift gears and brake? If no hand function is possible, other solutions like electronic or back peddle braking might be helpful.
Pedalling
Pedalling can be done with arms or legs, one limbed or two, and various strapping options and riding positions to account for variations in strength and control.
